Are there any hidden answers that may shed more information on what ties the stories together? when people are in their own versions of hell (especially Hellraiser Inferno). Instead, we have a group of stories that flow seamlessly from one segment to the next! It was the first time we were taking someone else's story and attempting to bring it to life. Maybe it's just me, but late night drives through the middle of nowhere are deeply creepy. I figured they were trying to tie it all together in the end. The gravel-voiced DJ on the radio dedicates the next song directly to them: “This one is for all you lost souls racing down to redemption, and all you sinners running from your past by heading straight into that pit of darkness up ahead.” Here’s hoping the fugitives enjoy the tune, because their demons (represented here by floating skeleton monsters) are about to catch up with them. Soooooooooo I finally got around to watching this because I am eternally spending my time catching up to everyone else and like, I don’t see how anyone could give this slick horror anthology a bad review? Produced by Brad Miska, the film premiered at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival on September 16, 2015, and was released theatrically on February 5, 2016 in a limited release. Fortunately, V/H/S alumni Radio Silence almost get things back up to speed with a wraparound piece that curls the movie into an unholy Möbius strip — it builds to a clever anticlimax that ditches us in the same tortured limbo that the film’s characters have been trying to escape. what's the deal with all these scrubs driving classic cars. A decent start. He tries to save her life (or so you think) but the instructions he was given by the 3 unknowns on the phone end up killing her (which obviously was done on purpose). There's two men on the run from something which neither of them can explain, a girl band stranded with some car trouble, a family man who’s involved in an accident, a brother coming to the end of his search for his long-lost sister, and a family en-route to a holiday house for one final trip together before their daughter leaves for school. 10/31/98 is probably one of my favorite horror shorts of all time. It explains why the weird grim reaper things are in every story, and why the guy in the hospital was able to leave (he was good), Then why was the girl killed? I suppose it's all a matter of opinion but I just fail to see how shitty acting, a flimsy plot, an awful score and pathetic dialogue should deserve so much positive attention. i love psychological horror and ghosty movies but ill watch anything that’s good! They just seem to happen in the same stetch of desolate road. They certainly packed a lot into the 1.5 hrs. So seamlessly that I’m not sure I could tell you where one began…. The way this was set up was done very well. Though my questions may be suggestive of spoilers there are none. Decent for an anthology film, but I expected quite a lot more.
